He’s going from the family patriarch to a wayward son.

British actor Paddy Considine, who starred as King Viserys Targaryen in the “Game of Thrones” spinoff “House of the Dragon,” co-stars in the new Paramount+ show “MobLand” along with Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren.

On Friday, Paramount announced that “MobLand” broke records as their biggest global series launch ever, drawing 2.2 million viewers on premiere day.

“I’m the little kid in the family, even though I’m a grown man. He’s trying to get his dad’s attention and affection on some level and to gain some kind of responsibility, but his dad doesn’t see him that way,” Considine, 51, exclusively told The Post.

In a marked change from “House of the Dragon,” where King Viserys was in charge, Considine said about his “MobLand” character, “Kevin’s a character that’s fighting for his voice within that family dynamic.”

“MobLand” (now streaming on Paramount+ with new episodes out Sundays) follows a British crime family. There’s patriarch Conrad Harrigan (Pierce Brosnan), his wife Maeve (Helen Mirren), his son Kevin (Considine) and Kevin’s own troublemaker son, Eddie (Anson Boon). Holding it all together is the family’s fixer, Harry Da Souza (Tom Hardy).

Even though Considine and Hardy, 47, were both on the hit British gangster drama “Peaky Blinders,” they didn’t overlap.

“I never met Tom on ‘Peaky,’ but I’ve met Tom a few times over the years, and I went down to his house years ago, and spent the day with him,” Considine explained. “But [‘MobLand’] was a good opportunity to get back in the ring with him.”

He added, “Sometimes you meet people and there’s an unspoken history, and an unspoken sort of respect. There was sort of an unspoken thing between us.”

That may be the case for the actors, but not for their characters.

Harry is more active in the Harrigan family, and talks to Conrad more. Although he’s not a blood relation, he’s closer to the role of the “favored son” than Kevin.

Considine said that he thinks Kevin “may be jealous [of Harry] underneath it all.”

“And there’s a mistrust of Harry, even though they have this kind of brotherly relationship. I’m not sure how deep that runs,” he told The Post. “I think he definitely… relies on Harry for things, and sees him as an ally.”

But, he added, “there’s an underlying mistrust of everybody from Kevin’s point of view, because he’s been through a lot of things in his life. He’s been through a lot of neglect from his dad, and a strange relationship with his mom. It all gets very kind of strange as it goes on.”

Considine has previously worked with Brosnan in 2013’s “The World’s End” alongside Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Martin Freeman.

“He was an absolute gentleman and a really great, great presence,” he recalled about Brosnan, 71, on the Edgar Wright-directed drama.

“So I was really excited to work with him on this. It’s really great to see him flexing those kinds of muscles [playing a ruthless mob boss]. Because he’s an absolute sweetheart. He’s one of the best people you could be around. He’s got a fantastic temperament, and he’s a brilliant actor.”

As for his on-screen mother, he “learned a lot” about watching Mirren, 79, work. “She’s very much got a grasp of this craft of acting. It almost seems so effortless with her because she’s so gifted at what she does,” he said. “It was great to be in there with some heavyweights.”
