Elizabeth Hurley dropped major clue about romance with former co-star Billy Ray Cyrus before Easter kiss

It all began under the mistletoe.
Billy Ray Cyrus and Elizabeth Hurley worked together on a Christmas movie three years before they debuted their unexpected romance on social media Easter weekend.
In 2022’s “Christmas in Paradise” on Netflix, Cyrus, 63, played Jimmy Love and Hurley, 59, played Joanna Christmas. The film, which also features Kelsey Grammer, Nathalie Cox and Talulah Riley, follows four sisters who reunite for Christmas in a Yorkshire mansion.
The holiday flick was a follow-up to 2021’s “Father Christmas Is Back,” which starred Hurley but not Cyrus.
Hurley gushed over working with Miley Cyrus’ dad in a 2022 interview with MovieWeb.
“The opportunity to work with Billy Ray, whom I’ve long been a fan of — my son was the age where he used to watch ‘Hannah Montana’ all the time, so of course, I used to watch it with him,” Hurley said, referring to her 23-year-old son Damian Hurley.
“I knew Billy Ray really well from that, and of course, some of his music,” Hurley added. “That was a big plus.”
Hurley and Cyrus shocked fans by confirming that they’re dating on Easter.
The pair shared a joint Instagram post with a picture of Cyrus kissing Hurley on the cheek as they posed on a farm. The caption read, “Happy Easter ♥️,” and the post was soundtracked by Elton John’s song “I’m Still Standing.”
Hurley’s son responded to the post with two celebratory emojis: “🥳♥️.”
Earlier in the month, Hurley dropped a major clue about their relationship when she shared a video of herself in a bathing suit frolicking on the beach — while Cyrus’ song “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore” played in the background.
She captioned the clip, “The most glorious sunset in the glorious Maldives 💗.”
The “Austin Powers” actress was previously married to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2010. She dated actor Hugh Grant from 1987 to 2000 and Australian cricketer Shane Warne from 2011 to 2013.
Cyrus was married to Cindy Smith from 1986 to 1991, Tish Cyrus from 1993 until 2022, and Firerose from 2023 to 2024.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer has kids Brandi, 37, Trace, 36, Miley, 32, Braison, 30, and Noah, 25, with Tish, 57. (He adopted Brandi and Trace, Tish’s kids from a past relationship, after marrying Tish.)
He also has son Christopher, 33, with ex Kristin Luckey.
In January, Cyrus’ behavior was called into question following his disastrous performance at President Donald Trump’s inauguration. His son Trace even wrote an open letter where he said the family is “genuinely worried” about their famous father.
Cyrus later broke his silence following Trace’s public plea, saying on Instagram that he’s “praying” for his loved ones.
The country star is allegedly estranged from several of his children, including Miley.
